Contacts from two accts
This should be easy. Somehow I've ended up with DWC showing all my contacts (as it should), but also showing all my wife's contacts. Conversely, all my contacts show on her phone along with hers. How do I get back to having DWC showing only my contacts?
ad popup
Thought I posted this, but don't see it here.
Recently, I'm getting an ad popup when I get an incoming call. I thought I had Pro and would get no ads. 3.0.7.2

Re: small phone icon
Nope. Just an icon-sized area in the top left. I can see the picture of the contact (if available) and the time incrementing as length of call. I can touch it and get a full page view but usually I have to touch it 10-12 times - no exaggeration.

Problem - I don't know how to get a screenshot and I only get the thumbnail icon during incoming calls.

small phone icon
Sorry if the title isn't an accurate use of terminology. And I'm not certain my problem is with DWC or the phone OS. For years, when I made a call, the app would take up the entire screen. Recently, when I make a call, the app shrinks to a thumbnail icon in the top left corner. I REALLY dislike that...

Re: These should be easy
An update. After a reboot, Favorites is now my default tab. Should have tried that after the first 5 failures.
SMS tab. It appears when I select a contact from Favorites. It doesn't appear when I one one in the Contacts screen.

These should be easy
For reasons unimportant here, my phone totally died. Lost all data. Bought a Samsung Alpha, Android 4.4.4. Trying to rebuild DW Contacts. If spent 2-3 hours (literally) trying to rebuild it but can't find settings I thought would be easy. Yes, I've checked the web site. How do I set DWC so it always...

Re: Where is contact?
Thanks for the quick reply. Neither suggestion worked. Part (all?) of it is my fault. Left out something in finding a contact. When I go to search and type in the name, Search finds nothing. I have to select "search everywhere" to find it. Apparently can't find it by contact name although ...

Where is contact?
I've searched here but didn't find the answer. (Actually, I found the answer to 2 of 3 questions. I recently created a contact. Want to put it in Favorites (I know how). But when I go to "Contacts," the name isn't there. It isn't in ANY group. I can find it 3 times by using "Search&qu...

Searchh all fields
At one time, when I did a search in Contacts and after typing in a couple of letters, I would get a button? below the Search field with something like "Search All Fields" "Search Everywhere" - something that would allow me to search all fields. That option appears gone. Same prob...

Re: Where is ringtone?
If we're talking about the same thing, no. Select Contact and Set Ringtone. Popup box - I select Android System. I get a list of ringtones. The Highlighted tone is the 1st one - Default ringtone. But the one that PLAYS for the contact isn't Default Ringtone, but "Rings." Same with all Cont...

Re: Where is ringtone?
Nope. "Set Ringtone" results in a popup demanding I select Android System or ES File Explorer. Regardless which I select, I can't see the current ringtone.

Where is ringtone?
This should be easy but I can't find the answer. I think I know how to set ringtones for individuals. What I CAN'T find is the current ringtone for an individual. That is, I can set a ringtone for Barak, but if I go back a few days later, I can't figure out how to find which ringtone is set to his p...

Thanks for the reply.
As it turns out, shortly after posting I installed ADW Launcher and immediately thereafter the incoming call popup worked perfectly. Don't know why, don't care why. Life is good.

This should be quite easy but I haven't found teh answer here or in DWC Settings. Actually, I'm not certain this is a DW C problem but it appeared one I downloaded and set it up. I have just begun moving apps to a newer Atrix phone, Yesterday I DLd and installed DW C to the new phone. everything see...

inconsistent featres?
Can't find the answer here. I have the Android Atrix. My wife has the Atrix 2. Both have DWC version 2.1.4. On my phone, when doing a search, when I type in text, DWC displays all contact names containing the letters I type. Just below the search bar is a "Search Anything" button that expa...
Re: wildcards
No, no. Forget about wildcards. They aren't needed. Give me the ability to create a Contact just as I do now. But add one option. When I get to the box where I can identify a number as Home, or Work, or Mobile, give me an option of "Range." For "Range" I can put in a beginning nu...
Re: wildcards
OK, here is my backup plan. For a Contact, give me a "range" option. That is I enter two numbers - no wildcards. Starting number - 123-456-7890 ending number - 123-456-7899 Then all the app has to do is 'fill in' the numbers between those two. Since there are no wildcards, this should make...
Re: wildcards
You are correct . . . "all the numbers in a number of segments 123-456-7800 to 123-456-7899" Actually, 2 of my contacts have all numbers from 123-456-7890 to 7899. One contact apparently has what I call a truck line. Calls from one phone but the number can show up as any number from 123-45...
Re: wildcards
Thanks for the reply but I'm confused. I want to create a Contact with a "Work" number of 123-456-78**. Any incoming call beginning with 123-456-78 will popup with that contact's name. I don't want to SEARCH by wildcard - well, I do, but not for purposes here. I went to SETTINGS>T9 SEARCH ...
wildcards
This should be very easy but I'm not sure if what I'm after is in an Android 'Contacts' app or some other app. Does DWC support wildcards in a contact phone number? That is, I want to create a contact with phone number of 123-456-78** where any incoming calls beginning with 123-456-78 will result in...
