Thanks for the reply, good to know. And yes, through 'back synching' into GMail I noticed that numbers are coming up as 'custom' additional phone numbers, just as you say. So now my problem shifts to Zoho CRM, where the GMail synch app does not seem to want to support these 'additional phone numbers...

To whom may be listening, many thanks in advance for any help. I can see how to put in a new custom field in DWC, say an additional phone number, into/which I can enter data.
