Add new contact to gmail
Add new contact to gmail
I want to add new contactd to my gmail contacts. The dw contact manager does not prompt me to choose which account to store to. This feature is required to keep my multiple devices in sync. I have a paid license for dw contacts
Re: Add new contact to gmail
Hello, dwc no contact editor. When you create a Contact, dwc call system contact editor. If you can, please create a screenshot of the contact editor.

Hello
In the look of your mobile phone manufacturers modify the Contact Editor.
Standard Android contacts editor when editing a contact on or before the account selection dialog.
You can try to install the 'Contact editor' in the google market.

Re: Add new contact to gmail
Tried with the suggested app (contact editor). It still does not popup the option to choose the account to which the contact needs to be stored.
Note:Now, the contact gets stored into my gmail contacts

Hi,
I use CE Pro. It's not bad (but not Great either.)
If it's any help, I'm pretty sure you can set the Default Account new contacts will be saved to. And you can easily change it to a different account while editing.
In CE Pro, scroll down to (>) More, open it, scroll down to Groups, change it there.
You can also set a Default to always expand (>) More.
And, if you always want to choose which account to save to, you can "Clear default account".
To access Settings, Open a contact with CE Pro, then Press the Android Menu button (like DWP), choose (+) More, choose Settings.
Cheers,
A

Re: Add new contact to gmail
Yes.This is the default way of working in Android. If you do not have any contacts account, the contact is saved to the local. If you include a contact account contact is saved to the account. If you include more than one account.Create contacts allows you to select an account.I want your cell phone manufacturers do to modify it.Contains accounts, contacts can be saved to a local. But he did not deal with compatibility issues.glitachy wrote:Tried with the suggested app (contact editor).
