Unset group for contacts

Post by Albator V » Wed May 22, 2013 7:35 am

By default, when you create conctact in SGS3, contact is add to "My contacts" group.
Yesterday, I spend hour to delete contacts from this group.

When I long tap contact, we have "Set group for contact" and we can add or delete group.
But if you select many contacts, we can only add new group.

So can you improve this feature with new checkbox tri-state (check, all contacts in group, uncheck, all contacts not in group, tri-state, one of contacts not in group).
Or add new item "Unset group for contact" for multi selection.

Hello
"My contacts" is a system group. You can hide it to avoid contacts removed from.
You can first open "My contacts" group. Then enter the multi-select mode select Remove contact. Then press the Menu button to select Delete contact from the group.
I will consider three state checkboxes. Thank you for your suggestion.

Ok thanks…
But why options "Remove contacts from group" and "Move to group" are in this menu and not in "More" menu ? I never see these options here, each actions are in "more" menu. Can you move these options to "more" menu ?
