Improvements to blocklist?

Post by paulginsberg »

Here in the UK we have a problem with unsolicited calls. In particular anything with an area code starting "0843" (for example) is usually an attempt to sign you up for costly legal advice.

As far as I can tell, the blocklist currently blocks individual numbers based exact matches; any chance that some functionality can be added so you can block anything that starts with a certain number e.g. 0843 xxx xxxx. Here's an example just for your amusement/awareness: http://who-called.co.uk/Number/08439801260 (260++ people logged issues with just that particular number, and that's only the people that visited that website to investigate further).

Fingers crossed and thanks in advance,
Paul

Hello
You use the call filtering rules.
Toolbox - Call Filter - Add Rule

Great! Hadn't previously discovered that feature - it's not entirely intuitive that it is there from the "Call Filter" screen. I'll give it a go - thanks for the support!
