Widget for DW (displaying contacts)

Post by rizome »

I'm using DW for some months, and I'm very happy with it, but I miss a great feature:
- Enable a widget to show some contacts in a scrollable box.

DW Contacts & Phone manages countact groups very well, and could be very usefull to have a widget wich show all contacts of the same group in a *SCROLLABLE BOX* wih a widget.
There are many widgets wich do that, but could be a great idea to provide two functionalities in your app.

The widget could looks like the picture below:

The procedure could be (in the android home desktop)
- New>Widget>DW Contacts
- Select the group to display in the widget
- Select size (Cols x Rows)
- Select number of columns to display
- Input the title for the box, or leave it blank.
- Select if "name contact" is desired, and where to show (at the right, at the bottom)
- Select background color, and alpha transparency for the background.
- Save changes > The new widget appears

Thank you very much for your attention.

i keep it in my mind ...
and resources limited - and next 1-2 month are fully scheduled with a lot of new function for DWC ...
