V2.8.0.0 has introduced a new bug in the LINKS routine.
A web page address ending in the form... filename.pdf ... example... http://www.example.com/files/file.pdf ...is shown in LINKS with the small icon on the right missing and when the link is selected I get the message... "System does not support".
If this link is selected from within Contact Details then it is resolved with no problem. So the problem is not with the web page address itself but with the way that LINKS processing handles it. Note that a link to a PDF file resident on the phone is resolved OK (via Adobe Reader), only files on the web are a problem. I have not been able to test whether this problem is also present on other filetypes on the web or whether it is unique to PDF files.
I checked this on my other phone which still has the previous down-level version of the app and the LINK to the PDF file on the web works with no problem. So this problem is new to V2.8.0.0.

Note that the beta version will not overwrite the original DWC contacts. You need to start it from another icon in the All Programs list.
