DWP

Dear friends.
I face strange behavior of DW(?). In my settings phone number title length is set to "1". And everithing is fine: it shows "M" - for mobile or "W" for work number etc., but if I am using Custom title for phone number, in this case DW displays the full custom number title, not only one letter as I set in settings

I am not sure about DW bug, maybe it is the stock contacts manager standard behavior.(My device is Nexus 5, stock AOS4.4.4, rooted).

Hello, it is by design. Custom labels are always displayed all. You can change the length of a custom label.

Do You mean instead of label "Jenifer" I have to use only "J" to get title length equal to 1 or there is another way?

You can modify it to use shorthand. Users typically use a custom name to save specific information, if cut unreadable.
