Hello DWP Forum community
I wonder how I can search in DW wildcards (place holder), I stored a company contact as follows E. Schläpfer. I tried to search like this *schläpfer* but it doesn't work.
How do I have to search in such a cases ??
Is there a way to search with wildcards *e.g. *schl*pfer" ??
Thanks for your help and your comments.

if you have contact name: "Martin Schläpfer"
you can fidn them: via only insert: "läpfe" or whatever ...
no wildcard is needed ...
so, it will do like: *läpfe* (but the * is not needed)
on "phone" > there is the T9-search - which have a lot of extra settings, so, that it is possible also to find via:
scHäpfEr (if you only input HE) - but this can be setup in t9 search settings.
tab "search" is the most mightfull search engine, because it can search in ALL contact fields:
example: 1990 will also look into note fields or events, and so on ...
tab "contacts" search only in most important fields (name, number, org, title, groups)
addionally -> what will be comming in a future version is searching via: OR / AND / NOT
