Showing the personal Title (like Dr., Bc., Ing.) in contacts

Hi all
Is it possible to show personal titles (like Dr., MBc., Ing., ...) in contacts or in incoming call info?

In Anglo-Saxon countries the usual greeting is "Hi Carol". But in European countries more usual is greeting by title like "Good morning, Mr. Doctor" or "Good afternoon, Mrs. Engineer".
But there is not easy to me to remember all titles to all of more than tousands contacts.
Is it possible to show personal title near the contact.

Actually there is possible to show "Title" in the meaning of "Job position". But for me there is more important to show personal title than job position.

How to do it? Can you help me?

title will also translated in germany to position.

The incomprehension is caused probably due to I do not have english version of Outlook and am not able to describe fields I want to see in DW Contacts.

There is field in Outlook Contact near the Company name that can be named in english like "Function" or "Job position" and that is usually filled with texts like "CEO", "IT manager", "Director" and so on. This field is shown in DW Contacts, when I check the check box named "Title". The contacts are ordered by this field, when I touch the "Titles" buttom at the bottom of the application.

And there is field in Outlook Contact near the personal info (like Name, Surname) and that is probably named Title. Here are usually texts like "Dr.", "Bc.", "MBA",... And this field is not shown in any fields of DW Contacts. Nor when I will see personal details, details of contact.
I can see it only when I edit the contact - then I can see Title, Name, Surname,... (in this order).
And this Title is, what I could see in contacts list, in contact which is shown at incoming call during phone ringing.

Do you understand me?

- the field you are writing about is named "Job title" (in english) or "Beruf" (in german)
- the field I could see in contacts and I am writing about is named "Name prefix" (in english) or "Namenspräfix" (in german)

i have here a EAS comptabible server(EGW), and tested with a real editor: "Contact Editor Pro" (you will find it in google market)

hmm, seems to be, that this is really confusing me ...
seems to be "anrede" should be the correct "title" ... hmm, it is something strange in android definition it is different ...

"TITLE" is now "POSITION"

the real titlte should be the "prefix" from android
this is the academic title -> like: "doctor" or "master of business"

could it be, that something is strange ?
or can we make an option, that "TITLE and POSITION can be changed ?
or should we correct it ? or add another tab ?
hmm, we should discuss this, how we should addthis - or only use it for search tab ...
or, the easiest way ... we can change the tab to "position", and rewrite the text to position, too
and then will be the next question: do we need an extra tab for the real title (in android it is called "prefix")

i verified that again ...
and switch to english, tested on eas server,google server,contact editor, etc ...

so, in my mind:
title does not exist on android:

PREFIX (or TITEL or ANREDE or PRÄFIX - in EAS:title)
so: PREFIX (in german there is the "title")
(now not supported by DWC)

POSITION (or ABTEILUNG or POSITION in EAS:JobTitle" of a person.
(now supported by DWC as "title")

so, i suggest, that we change in DWc this now to "POSITION"
and on future version, we can add support for field "PREFIX" (this will cost much more memory,but is possible)
we can add an option to support it or not ...so user can descide if they want it ..

I think nobody will want to sort by Name Prefix (like "Doctor") and also the tab named "Prefix" will be obsolete.

What I have meant was that it could be nice to show this Prefix together with name. Not only "John Doe", but together with Prefix: "Doctor John Doe" or "John Doe, Doctor".

Actually there is possible to select to show Organization, Group, Contact Note and Group Picture in Incoming Call View of DWc (in Background Service Settings), so there it would be fine to have possibility to select also Title to show in Incoming Call View.

in outlook is a little bit more space for displaying contacts name.
on small screen we must use: <firstname> <lastname>, <prefix> OR <lastname>, <firstname>, <prefix>
(because important for sort and for quick-jump)

if wanted you can change the font size smaller to see, then the full name, if it is too long.
much users are having many friends whicha are having a prefix, is not important to know. if you have a doctor,then you need the surename.

to show it on "contact viewer" <- this is system related and can'T handle by DWC, because contact viewing is a stock function.
using prefix on different other functions, too.
yes, this is why i know it is not so easy to implement this, because if we add this,we must also think about:
variable for predefined messages (ex: birthday greetings, appointment, incomming call, etc ...) and a lot of new options for prefix to disable/enable and so on ...
