how is searching for contacts working ?

i have two contacts

name: ivan gott
organization: klas rosig

name: natasha rostova
organization: bumer go

when i input in search field "ros"
in search results i see only natasha rostova
when i search "go", i see only ivan gott

prog searches names first, and if it finds something, it searches only among name field.

this is normal - and not a bug:

on tab "contacts" it will only search in contact name fields (not in note, org or title fields) (exclusion, if it doesn't find anything, then it can be startet a "detailed search", but this is then like it is on tab "search"
on tab "search" it will search in all contact fields (org, title, notes, birthday, and so on ...)

tab "contacts" is faster as tab "search", because it search only in contact names

So if i have a contact org. named Cobra Plus
And I search "plus" , I will find nothing.

on tab "search" you will find it, it is not case sensitive
you can try - or maybe you are using a very old version of DWC ?
in 2.0.9.1 it is 100% not case sensititve
