How to customise the Quick Contact Badge?

I can't find where to customise the Quick Contact Badge. That badge is handy because when you click on a widget person or a name in a list you just want a very limited choice of things to do, like phone one of 2 or 3 numbers or send a text. If you want more options you can always click on the avatar to get them.

1. Problem: The Avatar image for the person in the badge, is a chopped down off-centre version of their normal photo. It looks terrible. I can't find a way of making that image just be the normal one. There's no need to go messing about with the user's image (whoever / whatever is doing it).

2. The badge has some icons in like Phone, Text, VideoCall. Is it possible to get rid of them? On the badge I just want the option to phone any of their numbers or send a text. If I want to do any more than that, I can press on their photo to get the full set of options and read all about them.
