I have my contacts synchronized with MS Exchange server.
I am used to edit notes in my MS Outlook in Contacts, where I am not limited by length.
When the contact is synchronized and shown in DWP, whole note is shown (more than 1000 characters).
But when I want to edit note in contact, normally I am not allowed to add more characters. But when I start with deleting some part of note, I am not notified the original note was truncated to 1000 chars only and when I save this edited note, all info over 1000 chars is lost! Without warning!!!
Is it possible to not limit length of notes in contacts?
With regards
Vladimir
Notes in editor is limited to approx. 1000 chars
Re: Notes in editor is limited to approx. 1000 chars
Try holding down the notes on the contact details, and select Edit.
Re: Notes in editor is limited to approx. 1000 chars
Yes, this works correctly.
Thanks.
Question is if there should be notification that actual note was truncated (when used standard edit mode).
