Im wanting to send a group SMS to around 40 numbers, can I be sure this will be sent as SMS ? I am aware of some circumstances where an app will convert them and send them as MMS instead.
Also why would ( or should) I use the batch sending option ?

You can select the desired contact in the contact list, and then select Send SMS in the pop-up menu. This method is always sent using SMS and will be split into multiple messages if the length of the message exceeds the limit.
