First of all, thanks for a very nice application. I find the dialer works quite well and is a good improvement over the standard android dialer on my HTC wildfire.
The call filtering also works very well. However, I would like to request a few small features that I think would make it near perfect. They are as follows:
1. A selection for "call reject" / "redirect to voice mail" is needed on a filter. Sometimes one do need people to leave a message. An option for an automated SMS message response would a be a great bonus.
2. Filters can only be deleted all at a time. It would be nice if one could delete them one at a time.
3. Insert a flag next to a filter that can be clicked to deactivate it.
And for a later upgrade, message filtering.
Kind Regards,
Koos

Re: Call Filter enhancements
thanks for your ideas ...
we have plan to implement such kind of function, but we don't know when it will be made .... (not in next few weeks, because there are so much other plannings...
Also in our thinkings ...maybe it would be an overkill for application "DWC", because the application must be stay very fast ..
and such functions will perhaps cost a lot of memory, because all teh rules must be hold in memory ...
next is the user-interface, because if you have a lot of options, it is also very complicated, and should be used also from newbies ...
so, i can not guarantie to implement ...
also we are not 100% sure, if this is maybe done better via applciation: "Tasker", there you can do such "cron jobs", and which is much more powerful for "call filtering", tasking ..
maybe we will do a voting on forum about this "call filter"-functions ...

Re: Call Filter enhancements
I like DWC because it is the fastest dialer for my phone, faster the smart dail, Dialer One, Go contacts, Takephone dialer and RocketDial. The performanace is most important for me. I will be happy if there are more features, but not if the performance is reduced.
I think there are some free apps (like afirewall call and sms blocker) out there to filter calls and sms that are easier to use than tasker - but Tasker is very good, just not easy to use.

Re: Call Filter enhancements
@koosjr: do you really like to see it in DWC in future - or is it ok, to use an extra application which only concentrate on special call filtering ?
(i'm sure, DWC will need a lot of time to use this better as apps, which are concentrating on development only doing call filtering)
because then i would change the subject to "[Disagree]Call Filter enhancements" or will move it to questions. please let me know.
