Hi,
with my previous phone, a Nokia N95 with symbian, when receiving calls derived from the office phone (or any other), plus showing caller ID, also showed an arrow indicating the call was not directly to my phone, but comes derived from my office phone. This is very useful for me outside of working hours. It is possible to add this functionality?

how can you see if call is redirected ?

I don´t know how it works.
This was my first dissapointing surprise when I bought my android phone.
Maybe there is a GSM signaling that android doesn't handle, or isn't taken in account, but can be used in DW Contacts & Phone software.

Here are two photos from and old Nokia 2760 with a call forwarded.
First shows this screen, message means "Forwarded call"


Then displays caller ID info and blink a white over green backgrownd arrow (only for the forwarded calls)

Hi, I found an app in the market called "Forwarded call alert free". This app do exactly what I need, and shows that it is possible in android.
While googling searching for this feature, I found many people looking for the same thing.
It would be nice to have this feature into "background services / Incomming call view" settings.

i neve rseen this before ...i have no idea about this. i will look if it is possible, too.
(maybe it is provider related or country related)
