Hi,
I've posted this bug already once but it didn't appear on the bugs list....

On Settings -> Phone Settings -> Merge Call Log
My calls are not merged at all. The counter still remains on "1".

I'd be glad to have this fixed soon.

i heard about another 3 users, it seemsa to be a bug of ICS, for now i have no idea, it is working fine for me, maybe a customer ROM issue.
and the challenge is, that we cannot reproduce it - hmm
with 2.3.x it is working fine

Thanks for your reply. I use the original European Samsung ICS, no custom ROM.

I use ics with Samsung and I didn't that've this problem until I 'Un' merged the call log and later re merged the call log. Then everything shows up as (1) no matter what setting iI set it.

Turn off
Settings -> Phone settings -> Show call log group by date

This merges everything together by contact, but no more grouping by date, which is no better result.

Since I updated my Galaxy Note to stock ICS, this merge bug showed up. The call log of the built in stock phone application on the other hand groups and merges correctly. So it is possible to do it correctly under ICS.

for now ICS doesn'T support this - this is a bug in ICS, not in DWC, and i don'T know if it is anyhow possible to handle that - without making DWC slower ...
well, this is normal, if the user are wanting always the newest OS version, then they must live with some bugs ... see windows and their service packls - lol

I've got the same problem with my HTC One V and ICS. It really annoyed me. I hope DWC team will find solution one day. Or ICS.. I love this app because of merge calls but I will like it still.

Please upgrade to 2.1.5
This problem is partially solved. Can now be grouped by date. The previous way, a combined project of all calls of this number. Previously only merge the call of the day.

Thank you for spreading the new update! Now the counter is showing up when the calls are merged by date. It is also a great progress to revise the filter calls buttons!

Is is possible to give the option which timespan is count? e.g. to me it makes sense to show the number of missed calls per day. If I use the group by date function together with the counter it gives always the over all results.
