because this is a problem of XPERIA. Xperia ansdroid phones are extreme buggy - you cans ee this on xda, everyone is pitting that.
well, i'm fear, that we would need a debug log.
this means:
1.) connect device on PC -> start ADB (if you don't know how to log via logcat, please google for it), and start cmd: logcat
2.) then on device, click the "call log" button in notifiaction window
then look if it is not reseted.
now you should reset the default fucntion for the call log icon, and then the whole process again, but then select to show the call log with stock default app.
after this, please copy the call to a file and post it (also please mark in the file, where you open the call log with DWC and where you open the call log with stock app.
If this is to complicated for you - then don't do it.
This whole process - do only - if you are a expert. Otherwise it makes no sense to write here a manual book how to debug android.
