Hi,

As I remember when I tap a contact's picture, the quick menu appeared (call, send Message, etc.)
But since I updated to ICS (Xperia Pro) this function doesn't work.
When I tap the picture of the contact, something is happening but nothing changes on the screen and I cannot scroll or tap another contact. If I press the "back" button things go back to normal, so I guess You can find the problem easily.
I hope You quickly fix this bug as I just bought Your Pro version.

You are using the official ROM?
Because the interface provided by the system. When you click on the contact picture DWC call the system API, and then the system displays the interface you see.

And I get this interface when I click on the photo in the official dialer app. But I prefer Yours, that's why I bought it.

I don't know what system logs do You mean but here is what I found:
1. Official Dialer app works well, if I tap the picture, the quickmenu comes, if I tap the phone number, the contact info opens
2. In Your app there are two options: "Click list entry actions" and "Click icon actions"
a Click list entry actions works perfectly! It doesn't matter which option I set, it works well
b Click icon actions doesn't work for me!!! It doesn't matter which option I set, nothing works, even I cannot scroll. I have to push the back button on my phone and then I can scroll again.

So it seems to me that the software does something a thinks there is a new window opened, that's why it doesn't allow me to scroll.

Please look into the bug.

Yes, it looks like the Quick menu has been open. But it is not shown. It blocks you scroll the list.

I have the exact same problem. Also on SonyEricsson XperiaPro (MK16i) since the update to official Android 4.0.4
So it must be a software problem of the app , not the ROM.

This appears to be the SonyEricsson modified the API.
I use the Nexus S (Android 4.0.4) it is working properly.
I will try to solve this problem.

Well, what I see the point is that if I click on icon it's not working, if I click to contact name it's working.
Are You sure You're not doing anything different in the 2 actions?

When you click the contacts a contact name will open the Contact Viewer. Not Quick menu.
You modify the settings?

Same prob. "Click list" is OK, "Icon list" freezes display since update ICS (Xperia neo, DW pro)

There's the same effect. If you choose the quick contact badge to be shown at click list everything's fine. Click on the icon freezes - no matter what's choosed. This started after updating the system to ICS. Even uninstalling and re-installing didn't help. There's NO user-malfunction

Problem is NOT solved yet!
I think there is some misunderstanding here.
I make this simple:
Clicking on icon DOES NOT WORK! It doesn't matter which option I set in settings, it freezes.
Clicking on contact name WORKS! Every option that can be set to the contact name action is working.

It's since ICS update.
I'm not the only one reporting this bug.
Please fix it!

I and fix this problem. But it does not appear in my phone. It appears only in the Xperia Pro.
I can not do the test so to repair it more difficult.
Try to do the following tests:
Recovery DWC to default settings.
Modify the settings
Settings -> Phone settings -> Click list entry actions -> Wiew quick contact badge
And then the Phone tab. Click the contact entry.Test whether you can work.Can try whether there are different left and right click the list entry.

- removed the whole program, reinstalled > same
- changed the actions > same
- default settings > same

There's no need for testing anymore! I have 3 phones which show all the same problem - XPERIA neo, XPERIA ray, XPERIA active. What can I say else? Click list works no matter what you take, even the badge, icon list freezes no matter what you take. All after updating to ICS.

I believe You that You try Your best.
But I don't agree that the problem is with Xperia Pro only. See Nofate above, that guy has an Xperia Neo. So maybe Sony phones are affected.
I have tried what You're suggested.
Still the same, Clicking on name is correctly working but clicking on icon doesn't work.
It doesn't matter whether the icon is on left or right.
And again, when I click to the icon something is happening because the phone prevents scrolling. I'm using official firmware.

Before the problem is resolved.
Please modify the settings to
DWC -> Settings -> Global settings -> Click icon actions -> View contact details
This can make the grid view to work.

If possible, please provide stock Contact software for my test.
Can also take a look at the Log When you click the icon.

Thanks, grid view also doesn't work with the quick menu however contact details are working in grid view.
The problem is that I use list view.
Currently my solution is that when I tap on the contact name, the quickmenu comes up.
Can You put in an option to disable tapping on the icon in list view? It can help on phones the function doesn't work.
And I hope You can fix it in the near future.
How can I get the logs You need? I don't have rooted phone.

Do you mean, click the contact name.You can get the Quick menu. Not the contact details information.

I am trying this app on a Xperia U (ICS) and I have these problem, too.

Is there any new information to this? And: If it is not fixable (in the moment) please can we get an option to disable click-on-picture-feature?

It is not for myself, I can handle it when the app freezes, one click on "back" and it will work again. But I want to give this app to my father and he will not be able to handle such a problem!

Sorry also no solution.
In the list view, you can set the hidden pictures.
In grid view, you can modify for other actions, when you click the icon.

But my father loves this feature of modern smartphones to see name, number AND picture!

Do you work on this problem? Do you have any idea what could be the problem? And if not: Wouldn't it be possible to add an action "do nothing" to pictures in list view, to disable click on picture?

And: the phone is rooted, if you want to have any logs or so, tell me.
