Does DWP work without googlecontact?

Can I use DWP without google and can I transfer my contacts from google to my phone (with DWP) ?

If you do not want to contact synchronization.
You need to delete all Google account from the phone, if not always when you create contacts contacts are saved to the Goolge account.
Before you delete your Google Account. You can use stock Contacts software contacts backup feature to back up contacts to the SD card Vcf file.
After deleting a Google account. Restore these contacts.
