DWP

Installed over 1.0. Fired up. Asked root privileges. Accepted. Said something like "device is rooted. cannot patch" and failed. reverted back to 1.0. Any clues?

Sorry, your phone has to gain root privileges it? If not, it will not work. It will need to install a program on your system partition.

When applying the patch 1.1 have a massage "Unable to chmod/system/priv-app/dw-missed-calls-notification-cleaner.apk: No such file or directory
and patch doesn't work. Phone is rooted, supersu grants root, other cleaners (pixel etc works fine). Created priv-app directory, patch installs ok, need to reboot message, after all doesn't work again.

If the system does not contain /system/priv-app/ directory. Try copying the file to
/system/app/dw-missed-calls-notification-cleaner.apk
Then restart your phone.

Thank you! Let's try again, maybe there is a problem in one step.
First, download the file to your phone.
http://www.dw-p.net/dl/DW-Missed-calls- ... er-1.0.apk
Copy it to the directory where the system software. Should be the "system provides contact" software in the same directory.
Maybe "/system/priv-app/" or "/system/app/".
Then change the mode of FILE to 644. (Modify file permissions, so any user can read it)
Restart the phone.
Now the system application manager should be able to see "DW Missed calls notification cleaner".

You can now try if it works. When DWC attempt to clear the missed call notification, you should see an alert dialog box.
