Android 4.1 - 4.3, different phones: galaxy s3, note 8.0, Wiko Cink Peax 2

I have 20 groups and i'm trying to assign a ringtone to several selected groups (by multi select) at once and it does not seem to work:
- by multi-select i select groups 1, 5 and 10,
- long-press on one of the selected groups, let's say group 5
- in the context menu press assign a ringtone and select a ringtone
- the ringtone gets assigned only to group 5, but not to the other selected groups 1 and 10

Is it not possible or is my procedure wrong?

Thanks, but nothing changed, it still does not work: when several groups are selected assignig a ringtone wlrks only on the 1 group which i long-press.

Yes, indeed, but in some way it is difficult to believe, because for example i connot delete several selected groups either. When several groups are selected and long-pressed the context menu says "delete group" and not "delete groups". The same way it say "assign a ringtone for group" and not groups Would you please explain on that?

When you select more than one group, in the "menu title" should show "for the selected group." Is that right?

I'm not sure what you exactly mean so i'll try once more...

- i set the "multi-select" mode
- i select all groups by the button "select all" on the top and have them all checked
- now i long-press anywhere on the display
- a context menu opens with the name of only 1 group (the one i long-pressed on) in the title bar on top of this context menu and several actions which i can take on that 1 group , i.e. "show history for group", "delete group" and so on
- each of the above actions applies only to 1 group.

Now i found out in the meantime that when
- i set the mode "multi-select" and select several groups manually pressing on them one by one
- and long-press afterwards on one of the selected only then the context menu appears with the title "for selected groups" and it works actually to aplly the actions to several groups at once.

But as i said above it does not work when i select all the groups by the button "select all"
