DWP

I have the PRO version on my Moto G stock Android phone. Every time an update is installed both the DW icons I have on my Home screen disappear. These are the DW Contacts and DW Dialer icons, they have been removed somehow. I go into the Apps/Widgets screen and drag both app icons back onto the Home screen and everything is back to normal. This does not happen on another model of the exactly same phone where I have installed the FREE version. Why does it happen on the PRO version?

No, my phone does not have an SD card. Only 8GB of internal storage. The icons are inside a folder on the home page, but this is the case on both phones so I don't think that is the problem. It's not a big problem, after every update I simply drag the icons back onto the home screen. Just curious as to why it happens.

I do not know why. DWC did not do anything special.
Note that 8gb of internal space, is treated as SD card.
Installation DWC to "8gb internal space" and "Install to SD Card" identical.

With the recent update to Android 4.4.4 this problem has disappeared. So looks to have been an Android bug.

Yes, DWC just registered an icon. It is entitled to manage it all.
