contact picture in dialer during phone call has changed?

Hi everybody,
after one of the last updates, the theme was somehow changed to "Black" which has round contact pictures (contact icons). I have set it back to "Holo black" in Theme Settings and the contact pictures went back to square like I want them to be. The problem is that if I make a phone call, the big contact picture which appears in the dialer is still round and not square like it was some versions ago. I could not find a specific setting for fixing this. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug of the lastest release?
