migrating data to new phone

I have upgraded phone from S4 to Note 3. I can't migrate DW data. I did full backup and placed backup xml file in backup folder of new Note 3. When I go to restore data, the file is there but when it tries to restore it says Restore failed. Make sure that you have set the correct path.
I have tried doing a backup on the Note 3 of the 3 calls made and then restoring that file. I get same error message.
I have rebooted phone
I have uninstalled then reinstalled DW and still does not work
Android 5.0
DW Contacts version 2.9.4.1-pro
