Search sort order First letter First

When I do a Contact list search for "He" the result is 26 contacts. These results are listed in alphabetical order based on the first letter in the returned list. That means that a match on the first letter of the contact name is NOT the first in the list unless you are searching for "Ae". Big problem when I have to scroll down two screens to see Helen contact. How to I turn off the alphabet order on search results list?
