Image Picker not found - DW Contacts 3.1.4.0

I find that I am unable to load JPEG or PNG images (none other tried) to contacts in my Google (phone) contact library using DW Contacts 3.1.4.0 on my Google Pixel 3 running the December 5, 2019 Blueline factory software. The Android contacts program is able to assign these images with no problem; they are then visible in DW Contacts.
