German Exchange accepts bracketing for prefixes posiblity to strip characters

Is there a possibility to strip certain characters if the number is containing brackets as usual in german speaking countries +xx (xxxxx) xxxxx. my sip client isn't accepting the brackets... is there a possibility to strip certain charackters?

for example "Strip .-()[]{}/ in caller-id"

Couldn't find the option....

Without this option, maybe you can try to contact the sip software provider to solve this problem. Or modify the phone number of the contact.
