Paid version acting unpaid

I have used the paid version for ten years and about 7 phones.
I just moved to a pixel 6 pro.
However, I can't set the group for a selection of 24 contacts. I get a message that the limit is 5 for the free app.
I do not have the free version installed. I uninstalled and reinstalled the paid version, but it made no difference.

Maybe you have pressed the free and paid version at the same time on your phone. You are currently using the free version.

I am having the same issue. I have the version pointed to by that link installed. I no longer see free and paid versions on Google play. There is the version I have and one from 2010.
