Can somebody explain this "Relation" view ? relation between what ? accounts ? contacts (mother, son...) ?

realation show show in which connection this contacts are be ..

example: i have contacts in group "familie", then i see: the contacts.
if i go to relations, i can in which communication (relation they are, too), also i can look, in which company this contacts are be ...
better word for relations is: relationship.
