I'm using DW for some months, and I'm very happy with it, but I miss another great feature:
- To show contacts in a GRID.

The widget could looks like the picture below:
Image

This way, we could see our contacts in a faster way.

*TIP: the grid could be resizable using "two finger drag"

Thank you very much for your attention.

thanks, good idea, it is on my feature list ...like:
for tab "favorites" or/and maybe a customizeable color+transparent widget "window", where user can create links to their contacts, groups, titles, organization, etc ..and ther the user can define how big the icons, pciture should be ...
so you have boths features possible

well, yes it is looking fine ...but, the next question would be, how slow would it be, to display the contacts via picture ..
and when a user have almost no pictures for his 5.000 contacts ... if it make sense ....
but, yes, it will come, but have not the highest priority ...
at first the archictecture for the them files must be done, and after that, this can be defined in theme files, how users should be displayed, and which data below the pciture ...(maybe someone wanting name, events, phone, email, etc ...), and then we would need more time to adding several new options where user can adjust it, and noone will find it, because too much options ... :)

if we make the new grid view ... what should be visible ?
for all contacts - or only making grid view for favroites ?
then the long click is not availible ?

For me:
For Favorites and Contacts view (i haven't 5000 contacts ;))...
Display name (can choose in settings between familly, given name...).
Long tap display menu, simple tap open contact summary or call default number (can choose in settings)

well, we are working on it, but not sure, how we can handle the functions (resize would be the same method as quick-jump, maybe we must remove the quick-jump, and put it only in "bottom menu"
also we need options to setup the size in settings, if anyone have no multi-touch device.

for now it is planned, that user can change the tab "contacts" and "favorites" changing to LISTVIEW - or GRIDVIEW

grid view is implemented in version 2.0.7.
we thought, that the grid view make only sense on tab "contacts & "favorites"
the size can be adjusted via 2 finger sliding (smaller -bigger)

also, there is an option to set the size manually in settings menu (because not all have a multi-touch screen)

further ... also the grid view can be locked, this we made, that the quick-jump is also working on grid view (if it is locked - otherwise the size can be set with 2 finger)
