DWP

I'm playing with DWP and it looks just great.
But there is a really nasty problem: I can define and use favourites and groups, but after a reboot of the phone (Android 2.2) both are gone.
It is the same with other contact managers, so I guess it is not DWP's fault.
But maybe the underlying problem is a known one?
And there might even be a solution?

I do not synchronize my contacts, they are just locally on my device

seems to be a ROM related problem, because all other doesn't have this problem.
or - please try: configure a gmail account, then save all contacts to gmail account, and try it there again. maybe only the local db is corrupt or the ROM have a problem on your local account. maybe it is working for gmail accounts.

can you look, if there are newer ROM for your device ?

hmm, if wanted you can PM me, maybe you can copy/export your sql database and send me that - before reboot
but therfore we would need "sqlite" app installed on your device.
if you have skype - you can send me your skype account via PM, and i will contact you.
