double-contacts shown with different information

I love this app an d I think I am using it for about 15 years now.
since some time I get contacts shown double.
I have unchecked all registered contacts providers (Aquamail, Telegram, Whatsapp, Signal,etc.) and only checked to show contacts from two gmail accounts.
However the DW-UI shows double contacts. one with the native data from the gmail acounts and one with obviously cumulated data from the other contact-reading apps (messengers, Aquamail, etc.).

I want to have one single source of truth. otherwise syncing contacts over several devices is useless.
