Cant move theme settings to new ohine

Hi. I am trying to move my theme settings from my old Galaxy S7 Edge to my new Galaxy S7 Edge. I backup the settings to the xml file and put it on my new phone but it is greyed out when I try to restore the theme settings and I can't use that file. Any suggestions on how to successfully transfer the settings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
