default contact group
How do I (can I) make a contact group the default when I select "Contacts" along the bottom of the app?

As far as I know there is nothing in Contacts that allows you to do that. However...
Method 1.
Settings/Tabs/Activate & Sort will allow you to arrange the tabs at the bottom in any order you wish.
Then....
Groups Tab/Settings (top right of screen)/Sort & Hide will allow you to put the group you want at the top.
Method 2.
Contacts Tab/Top left select the box next to All contacts.
Again, Groups use Sort & Hide to move the group to the top of the list.
Method 1.
